Born from a shared desire to see our town thrive, the BID (Business Improvement District) is being shaped by the voices of those who know Swindon best – its business owners, retailers, hospitality providers, and service professionals. We believe in the power of collaboration to create a town centre that’s vibrant, welcoming, and full of opportunity.

Our mission is simple: to make Swindon a better place to live, work, visit, and invest in. Through targeted improvements, from tackling anti-social behaviour and reducing vacant units, to hosting exciting events and enhancing public spaces, we’re here to champion the town’s potential.

We’re not a council body or a top-down initiative – we’re a business-led, not-for-profit partnership, driven by the needs and ambitions of the local community. Every penny raised through the BID will be reinvested directly into projects that matter to you.
